What it Means to be a Member
AMBUCS members have served people with challenges to mobility and independence and worked to develop community leadership for over 90 years. In the last few decades, our organization has concentrated on serving communities across America through the Amtryke Program, Scholarships for Therapists and various other forms of community service.
Fulfilling AMBUCS’ mission of Inspiring Mobility and Independence gives members a myriad of opportunities to touch lives in real, tangible, life-changing ways. With 19% of our population self-identifying as having a disability, the opportunities to serve are both endless and exciting.
Working Shoulders Together to fulfill our mission also provides opportunities for those who want to advocate, educate, support and lead.
Here at Kenowa AMBUCS, we’re not your typical business club. We build long and lasting friendships within our group while we help those in our community build stronger friendships as well.
